GWにCentral Otagoに行くことにしたので予習です。（もうGWは過ぎてしまいましたが）
プロフェッツ・ロックはエノテカでも取り扱っていますが、こちらはGRNのもの。
かなり暗く濃いダークルビー。
粘性はやや強い。
香りはかなり強烈。
ダークチェリー、ラズベリー、ボイセンベリー、カシス、ドライフラワー、オレガノ、燻製用のウッドチップ、獣の血。
アタックは力強く、酸、タンニンは豊富。
酸は粒度が細かく、タンニンはやや刺激性があり緻密。
若さ、凝縮感があり、ストラクチャーも感じる。
余韻にまたも酸が感じられ、持続性がある。
冷涼で乾燥した気候のせいか、ヤラと比べると凝縮性が強い。
私の好みはこちら。妻は肉に合いそうとのこと。
他のワインもそうですが、外観、味わいともにオタゴのピノは結構しっかりしていますね。
あと酸とタンニンが強くて、からい。
