この日はこちらの日本人組織のオンライン懇親会、テーマはメキシコワインとなり、私は特別ゲストとしてコメンテイターを務めました。 事前に希望者がワインを購入して、同じものを飲みながら味わえるようにと、国内のどこからでも手に入れやすいメキシコワインの白、赤をお勧めしました。 選んだ白が、これ 前に飲んだことのある、1,500円程度で売られている、大規模ワイナリーのSBとCHのブレンド メキシコの白に多い、やや早摘みして酸を残し、嫌気的に造られたフレッシュ＆フルーティなワイン

訳あって英語でリビューを書きました。 これからちょいちょい登場するかも(*・ｪ･*)ﾉ☆ It’s a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Chardonnay. 12.5% Alc. Vol. Fruity with grapefruit, green apple, pear, and slight fresh herbal notes. Very fresh, crisp and pleasant on the nose and palate with medium body, good minerals, slightly lighter alcohol, and medium high acidity. For less than 12USD a bottle, I would definitely get this again! About the Wine: KUIIY CHARDONNAY – SAUVIGNON BLANC COUNTRY: México REGION: Valle de San Vicente and Valle de Guadalupe GRAPE VARIETAL: 70 % Sauvignon Blanc – 30 % Chardonnay VINICULTURE: Víctor Segura VINIFICATION: Temperature controlled stainless steel fermentation with select yeast SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 8 a 10 degrees celsius STORAGE TIME: Limited production of 11,00 bottles It's recommended to drink this wine now, or store to age in a cave up to 3 years Organoleptic Examination On the eyes: White wine with medium intensity, straw yellow and green hues, which note youth. Clean, clear, and bright that show a healthy wine, and medium-high density that the showcase alcohol content. On the nose: Medium aromatic intensity, fruity character with green apple and citric notes like grapefruit with light herbaceous touches. Clean aroma with a friendly presence of alcohol. On the mouth: Medium touch, very fresh, good acidity, dry taste, medium-long lasting finish, and a citric and green apple aftertaste. General Evaluation Casual, friendly, an easy to drink wine that note freshness ideal for hot days. 今回のネイルは、ジョアン・ミロの絵画からモチーフを取って描いてもらいました。 メキシコにはネイリストとネイルアーティストというのがいて、これを描いてくれたモニカは後者なんだと。
