オーストリアのワインショップで買ったツヴァイゲルト。店員が10年はもつよ！と言うので今までとっておいた。
黒鉛や、潰したベリー系の香り。
10年経っていい感じに熟成しており、タンニンがこなれて果実味とよく馴染んでいる。外に向かうエネルギーを感じる。余韻にスパイシーが残る。岩手エーデルワインのツヴァイゲルトに似た、お茶のような風味がある。味わいのトップはミドルで、味の縁にハーブのような清涼感があり、こなれたストラクチャーが舌によく馴染む。
開けてから一週間。味は抜けていない。ツヴァイゲルトらしいブルーベリーらしい風味もする。いいワインだなあ。日本で三千円台半ばで変えたらいい。

Appelation: Dorner is a south-west situated site on highest
altitude in Fels with 320m and supplies longest evening
sunshine to the vines.
Type of soil: gravel and conglomerates slightly covered with Löss
Viticulture: Our goal is sustainable viticulture by using no herbicides since 25 years, chemical plant protection is reduced to the absolute minimum required.
Due to the advantage of Löss terroir we don’t need to irrigate vines, green covering of the soil keeps it healthy and requires no fertilizers. Harvesting is done
just by hand with strictly grape selection, only the best fruit is used for our top wines.
Winemaking: Destemmed grapes are fermented on 30°C with a selection of own yeast for 10-12 days, skin contact approximately another two weeks. No
pressing, only free running wine is racked into used French barriques where malolactic fermentation is done. During 18 month it can develop fine fruit
aromas, no filtration is done until bottling time.
Analysis: Alcohol 13,7% Vol res. sugar 1,0 g/l acidity 5,4 g/l
Tasting notes: Dark red cherry and Amarelle-cherry with some hints of blueberries in the nose. Fresh prune, some tobacco spice and nuances of dried fruit on the palate. Plenty of fine grained tannin, long and persistent finish.
Aging potential: Will improve with some bottle maturation, best between 4 - 6 years.
