Colour: Bright cherry red with terracotta a pale ruby rim. Aromas: The great intensity and complexity of this wine are immediately apparent on the nose, rewarding us with aromas of ripe fruit - primarily plum and fig –along with dried flower petals. Ageing in high quality oak brings menthol and pipe tobacco notes to the mix, giving the wine a touch of elegance and distinction. Palate: Tantalizingly long, fine and subtle, very ripe, with a smooth, mouth-filling sensation of body and weight. Long, delicious finish leaving hints of roasted coffee and caramel.
