ポルトガルとスペインを旅して帰国した日 地元のお祭り 夕食は夫が材料を用意してくれていた（何だっけ⁇(･･;)） 今年の正月明けにオーストラリアで買ってきた、ちょっと高級なグルナッシュを開けてみた シドニーの自然派ワインショップのお勧めで66豪ドルだったもの マクラーレンヴェイルの樹齢100年のブッシュヴァイン古木のブドウを使用 1樽、30ダースのみ生産されたもの 以前ブラインドで飲んでそのピュアな美しさに驚いたオーストラリアのグルナッシュほどの感動はなかったものの、やはりピュアで凝縮した果実を樽で重たくすることなくそのままワインにしたこのワインも美味しい(*ꆤ.̫ꆤ*)♥ グルナッシュはアルコールが上がりやすいので、このワインも14%以上はあるのだけど、ドライすぎない柔らかな果実味とのバランスがよい 温暖な日光を存分に浴びてたわわに実ったブドウが思い浮かんだ この樹はもう存在しないので、二度と造られることはないのだそう ↓ This ‘one-off’ Grenache is sourced from 120-year-old bush vines, in a dry-grown vineyard in McLaren Vale, with a gentle north-facing slope and deep sandy soils. These gnarled old vines give fruit with comparatively thick skins, providing ample texture around the fresh and pure red fruit characters. 40% whole bunches were used, and the wine was aged in older French puncheons for 10 months. This wine is a rare bird and will not be made again as the fruit source is no longer available. Tasting notes Expect floral and herbal aromas around ripe and warm red fruits, some savoury undercurrents and a lovely liquorice tone. There’s incredible power and brooding intensity, with a plush texture and just right tannins. Balanced, with pure flavours and thumping presence, excellent stuff. About the producer Bondar Established in 2012, Bondar is the vision of husband-and-wife team Andre Bondar and Selina Kelly. Andre, with a history as a winemaker in the Adelaide Hills and Selina with a background in marketing and law, have planted roots (literally) in the north of McLaren Vale, Their new home is the Rayner Vineyard on Chalk Hill Road, where plantings of old bush vine Grenache and Shiraz vines up to 65-years-old are already in play, while newer, closer planted Counoise (one of the 13 Châteauneuf varieties) has been recently planted, and Mataro, Carignan and Cinsault are on the horizon.
