地元百貨店のイタリアフェアで昨年購入した南イタリア3本セットの2本目は、シチリアの黒葡萄ネロ・ダーヴォラです。
濃いガーネット。
香りは、ブラックベリーやプルーンのジャム、タバコ、コーヒー、チョコレート。
凝縮感のある甘い果実味。
濃厚なだけでなく、酸も生き生きとしており、熟成によって強いタンニンは滑らかな舌触りに変化しています。
さらに特筆すべきは、果実味に負けないほどの強いミネラル感。
変な癖がなさすぎて一見普通に見えてしまうのが恐ろしい…
シチリアのネロ・ダーヴォラとして、これ以上望むのは野暮と思えるくらいの、全ての要素が充実した素晴らしいワインでした。
