南アフリカ ボット・リバー ソーヴィニヨン・ブラン 2018年 S$45 柚子やオレンジの皮、ライム、カモミール、仄かに硫黄の様な煙たい香りも。 開いてくると黄桃も香る。 口に含むと、オレンジの皮の様なビターさと洋ナシの様なフルーツ、そこに比較的強めに感じる酸味が主体のアタック。 瑞々しくフレッシュ。 ミドルにはイーストの様なナチュラルな旨味を感じる。 フレッシュなフルーツに独特の旨味、柑橘の皮の様なゼスト感。 余韻に掛けては涼し気なハーブ感もアクセントに。 アロマティックで華やかなSBと言うよりも、着飾らずコンサバなキャラ？って感じでしょうか！？ でもしっかり屋さんでちゃんとしてて、近付きやすい柔らかさがある。 ナチュナルさ？素朴さ？それと、ちゃんとしたコア感が出てる1本だなって感じました(^ ^) ガブリエルスクルーフがアンフォラ熟成で造ったワイン、という事で気になって買ってみました(^ ^) 同じようにアンフォラ熟成で造ったシラーも買ってみたので近々あけてみます♪ 以下はネットで拾ってきた情報コピペです =============== Whole bunch pressed, wild fermented and matured in amphora for 10 months, low sulphur. 1200 bottles made. The farm and vineyards were established in 2000, with our first vintage made in the cellar in 2009. Some years on, we are confident that as our roots dig ever deeper into Botrivier, our understanding of the terroir will grow, along with wines that elegantly, understatedly, simply speak for themselves. About The Amphora Sauvignon Blanc forms part of our Reserve Range, and will only be bottled in outstanding vintages. Climate & Viticulture Botrivier has a Mediterranean climate, which means longer growing seasons with moderate to warm temperatures. The conditions leading up to the 2018 harvest were hot and dry for the third consecutive year, leading to smaller berries and even more concentrated flavours. Vinification All the fruit was hand-picked and 50% was whole bunch pressed. Fermentation and ageing took place in clay pots over a 10 month period.
